Spring Tulip

This sweet little tulip wall art was inspired by a March 2008 trip to Germany, Austria, and France. While in Europe I marveled and soaked up how many businesses and homes decorate for the Easter holiday. Dangling Spring-themed decorations from trees & shrubs, sweet garlands, and window boxes planted with delicates. It was magical. I wanted to re-create that simple, but whimsical feel with this piece. Made of glass tile, the peach tulip sits happily in a blue flower pot. White grout and a picture hanger on the back for wall display finish off the piece.
