Broken Plate Mosaics class starts in March 2009!

We have a fresh batch of amazing materials to choose from, so feel free to break a plate, mug, or tile and use the pieces to create art! In this class we’ll transform everyday breakable items into original one-of-a-kind mosaic masterpieces. By the time we’re done you won’t believe they were once used in the kitchen! Students are also encouraged to bring found objects or family heirlooms they'd like to use in a mosaic.

You’ll choose to create an 8" flower pot, 10" square mirror, or 8" x 12" wall panel. We’ll discuss materials, adhesives, base items, tools, cutting and grouting techniques.

Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Bring an old hand towel....and your creativity!
